POSITION SUMMARY

The Commercial Analytics CoOp role will support the commercial team by analyzing market data, tracking performance metrics, and developing insights to inform business decisions. This role reports directly to the VP of Operations and will focus on both of PTx's products: Leukine® and BIZENGRI®. This position provides hands-on experience in pharmaceutical analytics and an opportunity to apply academic knowledge to real-world business challenges. This is a high visibility role where you will have the opportunity to engage with leaders across the commercial organization, including marketing, market access, clinical, CMC, supply chain, and commercial operations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collect, organize, and analyze commercial and market data for Leukine® and BIZENGRI®
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators
  • Support forecasting and business planning activities
  • Perform competitive analyses and market research
  • Assist in the analysis of sales trends and customer behavior
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address business questions
  • Prepare presentations summarizing findings and recommendations
  • Participate in meetings with leaders across the commercial organization
  • Adheres to all applicable regulations and requirements including compliance, company policies, and employment-related laws and statutes.
  • Successfully completes all mandatory training within required timeframes.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

Required:

  • Experience using Excel and manipulating large data sets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to ensure data accuracy
  • Strong presentation skills
  • A passion for the oncology field and a commitment to making a positive impact in patients’ lives
  • Excellent soft skills including a bias towards action, the ability and willingness to give and receive constructive feedback, is comfortable working within a diverse team and across multiple functions, exhibits a consistently constructive attitude, and is adaptable and at ease with handling unexpected changes and challenges.
  • Solid English language communication skills, both oral and written, are required for this highly collaborative role. Willingness and ability to clearly express opinions and ask questions.  Comfortable actively participating in cross-functional meetings.
  • Proficiency with MS Office products, especially Word and Excel essential; ability and willingness to quickly adopt other job-specific applications will be necessary. 

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus
  • Understanding of statistical concepts is preferred
  • Experience working with healthcare EHR, claims, and sales data a plus
  • Software expertise in PowerPoint, SharePoint

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

Preferred:

  • 1+ years of work experience
